Children's Centres

Children Centres operate across Warrington, providing access to early childhood services for children under 5 and their families such as play sessions, creches, family support, volunteering, training and employment support. 

A rage of professionals work with Children Centres and include midwives, health visitors, library workers, The Citizens Advice Bureau and adult learning tutors.

Children’s centres help to give young children and their families a brighter future. 

We offer the following services - Child development & school rediness, parenting aspirations and parenting skills & child and family health and life chances.

Families are encouraged to register and access services at their local centre.

Children centres are open from Monday to Friday and have a rage of activities on offer for children aged between 0-5, other activities may be available for children and young people aged 5 and above, as well as services for parents and carers. 

Most services are free, any activity where there is a charge will be clearly marked. 

They're various sessions available, there's no need to book in to access a children's centre just drop in, If any activities do need to be booked we'll let you know when you visit.

Children centre support workers have accessed equality and diversity training, Portage training, speech and language training, Baby Massage training, parenting training, Makaton training.
